Sr. IT Auditor

Auditor to run multiple engagements on the East coast. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree, at least 8 years' relevant experience with system design methods, control analysis and development, risk analysis and financial understanding. Solid knowledge of Windows NT, UNIX, Firewall, Network Security, ACL and ERP systems is desirable.

• Audit Information Systems including: telecommunication systems, data center operations, LANS, distributed systems, and applications.  
  
• Thorough understanding of application controls and system development life cycle activities.  
  
• Develop comprehensive audit programs.  
  
• Manage and perform audits on special projects.  
  
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Lawson, or Great Plains.  
  
• Experience with TCP/IP, Router, Firewall, UNIX, NT and Mainframe Security technologies.  
  
• Experience using automated tools to assist in performing assignments (ACL, ESM, CyberCop, Bindview).  
  
• Facilitate and lead audit closing meetings to ensure that all relevant recommendations are communicated to management. 

Qualifications:

• CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP (at least 1 required).  
  
• 5-7 years of experience preferably Big 4, at least 1 year in a Manager position.  
  
• BS degree in Accounting or Management Information Systems or Computer Science.  
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organization & multitasking skills.  
  
• Good understanding of auditing and evaluation of internal controls.  
  
• Excellent project management skills.  
  
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
